Dunwood Conference 2025 - Potters Resort
Dunwood held its 2024 Annual Conference and Awards at Potters Resorts, Hopton-on-Sea during January 2025. The spectacular 3 day event attracted almost 400 people, including leading Group Travel Organisers and exhibitors.

Guests arrived on Friday 3
rd January 2025 for an All Inclusive experience and were treated to a Conference, Awards Presentation and Gala Dinner, alongside spectacular entertainment, superb cuisine and wonderful accommodation.

The morning conference on 4
th January welcomed many exhibitors including Potters Resorts, Anchorage Hotel, Ruskin Hotel, Quorn Hotel, Marsham Court Hotel, Constantinou Bros, AGTO & Group Leisure. Nikki Pinches welcomed our valued exhibitors to the stage to provide insightful information and updates about their product, all received a warm response from our GTOs.

Phil Westwood, Director, spoke openly about Dunwood, our history and how we dealt with Covid, including our transparent policy of full refunds to those who requested them and were affected by the pandemic. Dunwood has since gone from strength to strength, with 2024 being the busiest year in our history. The future expansion of the business, including investment in our coach fleet and new programme of holidays for 2025 & 2026, was presented by Stuart Parker and Mandy Hill.

A wonderful lunch and afternoon of activities followed the conference. Later, the Dunwood Awards Presentation recognised a variety of GTOs and their contribution to sales, alongside a special recognition for Karen Hough who celebrated 20 years service at Dunwood.

All Dunwood coach drivers were recognised, their role within the business was expanded upon and how they manage each tour with professionalism and superb service. This part of the weekend was extremely well received by all Group Organisers, many of whom raised a cheer for their favourite driver!

All customers continued to enjoy a variety of entertainment after the awards, courtesy of the Potters Resorts Entertainment Team in the impressive Atlas Theatre. Drinks were included free of charge throughout their stay, with a wonderful evening supper for those who were a little peckish later on.
